Can incognito history be recovered?
Incognito mode does not write history to disk, so there is no history file to restore. But a few traces outside the browser can still reveal which sites were visited until they are cleared.

Where traces can remain
- -The operating system DNS cache lists recently looked up domains.
- -Device memory can hold page data until the computer restarts.
- -Routers and network logs keep their own records.
How to clear local traces
- -Close every private window to end the session.
- -Flush the DNS cache (on Windows run ipconfig /flushdns in Command Prompt).
- -Restart the device to clear memory.
Traces you cannot clear yourself
- -Records kept by your internet provider or network owner.
- -Server logs at the websites and search engines you used.
- -That is why a search engine that keeps no logs matters.
Keep your searches out of the record
